Pass Learn: The UK's Number 1 Service for Qualifications

Behind every qualification is a reason -a job someone is applying for, a university they want to attend, a career they are trying to break into. Pass Learn works backwards from that reason, helping UK adults identify the right qualification and providing the online courses, exam booking and guidance to make it happen.

Adults at the Door of University

If you want a degree but do not hold A Levels, the Access to Higher Education Diploma is most likely your best option. These Level 3 qualifications are designed for adult learners, studied entirely online, regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, and accepted by universities throughout the UK.

They are used extensively for entry into nursing, midwifery, teaching, health sciences, psychology, social work and youth work. UCAS points can be awarded based on your final grades, and you can see exactly what your profile might be worth using the UCAS Tariff calculator.

For those taking the A Level route -whether resitting or studying for the first time -online A Level courses with private candidate exam booking are available through Pass Learn.

Maths and English: Getting It Done

These are the qualifications that come up time and time again. Two routes are available at Pass Learn.

Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English is the faster option -accepted as equivalent to GCSE grade 4, taken online from home and available throughout the year without waiting for the exam season. Level 1 is also available. Where the GCSE grade itself is specifically required, online GCSE courses are available with full exam booking support for private candidates.

Who Pass Learn Is Designed For

  • Adults re-entering education who need to update or gain credentials

  • School leavers who want more flexibility than sixth form or college offers

  • University applicants working to satisfy entry requirements

  • Apprentices needing Maths or English certification

  • Career changers seeking credentials in a new field

  • Home-educated learners preparing for formal examinations

  • Private candidates who need support with exam bookings

  • Resit candidates aiming to improve on a previous grade

Getting the Right Advice Before You Start

Pass Learn's support team is available by phone to help you work out which qualification is the right fit -taking into account your goals, your existing credentials and your available time. For understanding what different careers require from applicants, the National Careers Service is a useful reference.
