Multiply programme

Here at the York Math tutors, our primary goal is to support those who aim to get a Maths qualification. For adult learners, this may be especially hard, as a lot of support is often aimed at younger learners. This is where the Multiply programme comes in, this government-run initiative focuses on the improvement of numeracy skills in adult learners at a GCSE level.

Through this program, adult learners have access to a multitude of GCSE Maths resources. As well as support in the form of 1-2-1 tuition with an experienced and qualified tutor. Providing the learner with personal tutoring in regards to numeracy. The resources that the Multiply scheme offers include GCSE Maths course materials, general resources, and videos on revision. All are accessed through the Multiply platform. The resources mentioned are created by qualified content creators and examiners. Ensuring that the resources offered are the best and most accurate possible.

If you are thinking about applying for the Multiply programme, there will be some criteria that you will need to meet first. The main one is your age, as it’s only adult learners will have access to the scheme. The second is your current Maths qualification level. As you will have no need for the scheme’s support if you have a Maths qualification equivalent to or higher than a GCSE grade C.

We would highly recommend the Multiply scheme for anyone who meets its criteria. The sheer amount of resources you will be given access to will be a major factor in getting ready to take your Maths exam. Ensuring that you start your revision off right will be key to helping you succeed. If you are still unsure, then contact us today. Where we will be able to answer any questions you may have.
