GCSE Equivalency Tests
Here at the York Maths Tutors, we want to support learners of all ages. Including giving them assistance with the vast range of qualification types that are available. Helping to find the one that is best suited for your situation. If you are looking to go into a PGCE, midwifery, nursing, and so on, then the best option for you would be a GCSE equivalency with A Star Equivalency. Excellent for those who wish to earn a grade C in:
Maths
English
Combined Science
Biology
However, since we focus on the maths side of GCSEs at the York Maths Tutors. That will be what we will discuss today. The maths exam is built entirely around the GCSE Maths specification set out by the exam boards. As well as the exam itself is approved by multiple exam boards. Helping to ensure that the qualification will be accepted by all major universities in England.
The exams themselves are online, so can be taken from the comfort of your own home. They also have the option to take the exam on your pc or have a paper version sent to you that you can take. Making the GCSE equivalency tests flexible helps to reduce your stress by allowing for different options.
Once the exam has been booked, you will receive all of the instructions that you will need regarding the day you will be taking your exam. When that day comes, you will be put into a call with one of our highly trained invigilators. Where they will guide you and get you set up for your exam. Then they will monitor you while you take it. Once the exam is over, you will be given further instructions. Typically the results will be returned in 2 weeks, but there is the option of fast track which changes it to 2 working days.
